Cloudflare ownership must be documented before production handoff.

Development-Era Usage​

The development company may retain Cloudflare ownership or admin access for dev and staging during active development.

Production Rule​

After handoff, the production domain and Cloudflare admin model must be documented. Acceptable patterns include:

  • Anchor-owned production account
  • client-owned zone with delegated admin access for Anchor
  • another documented production ownership arrangement approved during handoff

Required Documentation​

  • zone ownership
  • admin placement
  • delegated access model
  • DNS responsibility
  • escalation path for domain or edge incidents
