Production monitoring must be in place before Anchor accepts a system into managed production operations.
Core Expectations
- Health checks must be documented and actionable.
- Metrics should be available where appropriate.
- Logs must be structured and accessible for diagnostics.
- Alerts must route to the correct production responders.
- Stateful systems must include backup and restore visibility.
Ownership Boundary
Before handoff, the development company may own development-era monitoring and analytics. After handoff, Anchor owns production monitoring operations and the operational response workflow.
